I took a little walk in my neighborhood today. I like that, where I live, you can escape the city in about ten minutes and walk along the river, enjoy the last couple of summer sunbeams and watch people.

The woman sitting in her car with the window open listening to Roxette’s „She’s got the look“. With blond dyed hair, a lot of make-up and long fingernails.

Behind the bridge is where this little paradise starts. Walking along the water. Living in a city without any sea nearby always makes me miss it. The river helps a little.

Passing by a playground where kids are screaming for the attention of their parents. „I’ll jump now, Mama! Mama! I’ll jump now! Do you watch?!“

Finding Susana and Käthe:

Then sitting in the grass, reading, watching the water, listening to the noise of the city far away.

When it gets too cold, because the sun decided to hide behind the houses, the walk home starts. Getting closer to the city, the wild animal, you love to watch from far away but don’t want to touch. But with a lot of energy.

This summer I became very much obsessed with my mp3-player (mostly because I only have it for a couple of months) and I took the chance to listen to some bands I didn’t listen to for some time. I instantly fell in love again with Mineral, which I always liked but I never had their records. A friend of mine borrowed me hers, so I could listen to their songs, while I was traveling in the Baltics.

So I’ve been having this blog for quite some time, but I could never really figure out, if I want to use it or if I just like the idea about having a blog. Neither could I decide which language I want to write in.

I don’t have any big stories to tell. Probably it’s just a collection of memories and things I found in the web which I used to keep in my head and in my little calender and am now sharing here. Let’s see what happens.
